I got to say I am a little jealous Emily makes a great Shirley Temple, Pippi Longstockings and now she is the cutest Annie.  These were some of my favorite characters growing up.

We sponge curled her hair last night and she could pass for Annie in a heartbeat. It is so fun to have a girlie girl!

Switch-a-roo’s and benchmarks?

Saturday, January 16th, 2010 | Uncategorized | No Comments

I was in a big hurry to get out the door so I hurried and put on my new hiking boots. They felt a little different but I was to busy to notice. When I finally got home, while I was taking them off  I realized that they were Brian’s shoes. He looked at me and said Oh yeah I’m am wearing yours! I had to laugh because he is only 10. I guess things never change because I was always a bench mark for height with my younger siblings ( Yeah I am Taller than Jen!) and it is becoming the same with my children. I think that they are all going to be taller than me. Emily and Brian are not to far off.

Cozy Conference

We enjoyed watching conference online. Adam came over and the kids played the bingo game that the primary presidency brought over. It worked amazing for one session so I can’t complain. The kids also did the fun packets  Aunt Laurie sent to color. We enjoyed being  together and hearing the Prophet and Apostles speak.

Sorry We are to busy to have you over but Would it be Ok if we take you to Lagoon?

Monday, December 7th, 2009 | Uncategorized | No Comments

Well after like no consideration I said yes and we were off to Lagoon with Our Aunt Laurie and Uncle Al. It was an all expense paid day of pure fun. We like to call it” Wicked” because that was Brian and Uncle Al’s favorite ride.  The kids are still talking about the day. It was so much fun to be all together and my favorite ride was the wild rapids. I have never laughed so hard getting soaked in my life. We loved it so much that we did it again! Thank you Thank you Al and Laurie. We had a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my quest to always have a baby in my hand and since I have none of my own anymore :( I must barrow baby’s and my favorite baby to borrow is Liz. She did not like me at first but now we are buds.  She fits right into our world and loves to be held. She has just learned to clap and it is so cute! Jared and his friend were over and they got a kick out of Liz when she was over to play.

Baptism

Saturday, October 10th, 2009 | Uncategorized | No Comments

Sean and Scott were baptized on September 12Th. It was a joyous day with friends and family. We are so fortunate to have four children baptized and confirmed members  of The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints. It was a beautiful day Scott came out of the water and said it felt like he was touching angels. Sean said it was heavenly. Adam and Brian gave the talks and Emily sang a solo. We were blessed to have Grandpa Glenn and Grandma Elaine. Aunt Laurie brought them along with her granddaughter Hallie. She was so kind to give my Grandma Turner a ride. Megan was so helpful and kept the Boo intertained what a life saver! Tiana and her husband came. She was so kind to play the piano for us. Jenn and a few of her friends came. The Faulrings and the Frareys came also. It was so intimate. We felt the spirit and enjoyed the day and will Cherish it for ever. We all met at  Bridal Veil Falls park and had dinner. It was so nice to all be together and visit. We did not want the day to end. God blessed us on this beautiful day!
